Good morning all, The sun is currently shining in London town and I’m praying that it lasts! Hope everyone is having a great week, I’ve been feeling slightly off and crappy healthwise so thought Id whizz up a smoothie to give myself a nutritional boost. I decided on the Banana & Avocado one as the nutritional content of this is through the roof so its time to give it a whirl. I’ve never used avocado in a smoothie before mainly because of the high fat content but the main thing is its full of healthy good fats so I’m all for that. I also added a spoonful of milled flaxseed, almonds, brazil nuts, walnuts & co enzyme Q10 to give it another boost. Below I’ve listed some of the health benefits of this particular smoothie..
Banana & Avocado Smoothie
Good for Eyes : Combination of avocado and banana can improve the health of eyes.
Healthy Fat : Presence of monounsaturated fats helps to keep your skin, hair and nails fresh and soft.
Good for Digestion : Quicker absorption of nutrients helps in improving the process of digestion.
Softening of Skin : Presence of vitamin E in avocado helps to keep your skin fresh and soft.
Weight loss : Having an avocado banana smoothie in the morning will keep you feeling fuller for longer, hence keeping away from the cake tin!
