I woke up yesterday morning feeling like I’d been hit by a bus which meant one thing… some strange viral shit was gonna go down. Fast forward a few hours and hey ho, the sore throat hit along with the general fluey crap feeling…. I seriously have been in no mood to do anything and literally have just felt like staying in bed all day. Unfortunately with two young kiddies floating around, that choice is non existent so instead I decided to gather a few of my favourite ingredients and rustle up one hell of a healthy juice. I needed a boost of vitamins and fast, anything to try and shake this thing off. I also added a spoonful of Naturya blends organic green which I picked up over the weekend. It consists of Hemp protein, wheatgrass, barleygrass, pineapple, chlorella and spirulina powders. Its loaded with vitamin B12, Iron & Zinc. Its rich in vitamin E, Protein & Fibre and its a great source of vitamin C. So I tossed that in too and down the hatch it went… hopefully I’ll be jumping round the place in a few hours….
Do rustle this up and knock it back
Cucumber, Celery & Ginger juice
- Half cucumber
- 3 celery stalks
- 1 apple
- Knob of Ginger
- Squeeze of lemon or lime, whichever you prefer.
- Blitz the cucumber, celery stalks, apple, ginger through the juicer
- Squeeze some lemon into it for some flavour
- Pour over ice and serve in a tall glass
You can also add a spoonful of organic greens to add more nutrients if you wish of just have on its own for a really refreshing and nutritious juice.
